Can I access online resources off-campus?

Answer

Yes.  There are two means by which to access online resources off campus.

1) Via our A-Z Databases site at http://libguides.bishopg.ac.uk/az.php. All of the Library's online resources are listed and can be accessed from here. If you try to open a particular resource you will be prompted to enter your BGU email and usual password.

2) A proportion of our online resources - mostly journal and ebook databases - are linked to WorldCat.  WorldCat searches these databases at the same time as it searches our physical collections, meaning that your search results contain a mixture of both online and physical resources.  You can then use filters to narrow your results to 'Full Text' (i.e. available online). If you try to open an online resource through WorldCat (usually by clicking on a 'View Full Text' button or similar) you will be prompted to enter your BGU email and usual password.

More information about all of the Library's online resources is available in our Online Resources LibGuide.
