We ask that you only use acetates purchased from the Library Service Desk in BGU printers.  The Library sells two types of acetate - a standard acetate for black and white printing and a paper-backed acetate for colour printing.

For black and white printing, at your computer go to File - Print Printer Properties, click on the Basic tab, under Source select Multipurpose Tray, and under Media Type select Transparency.  Now send the job to print, go to your nearest printer, and login.  On the console put the acetate in the drop down tray at the side of the copier (A4 portrait orientation). Press Print Release and select the item you want to print. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to print onto a transparency: select the MP Tray (multipurpose tray) by pressing on the Continue button. The item you want will now be released and printed onto acetate. Remember to logout when you have finished.

For colour printing, at your computer go to File - Print Printer Properties, click on the Basic tab, under Source select Multipurpose Tray, and under Media Type select Transparency. Make sure to check in the bottom-right corner of the basic tab that you have selected to print in colour.  Send the job to print, go to your nearest printer, and login.  On the console put the acetate in the drop down tray at the side of the copier (A4 portrait orientation only) with the pink edge face in and face down. Press Print Release and select the item you want to print. Now you will be asked to confirm you wish to print on acetate select the MP Tray (multipurpose tray) by pressing on the Continue button on the screen. The item you want will now be released and printed on to acetate. Remember to logout when you have finished.
