If you can’t get to the Library to access a book or journal which we hold in our stock we can scan an excerpt and email it to you. Copyright law permits us to scan and email no more than one chapter per book (or 10% – whichever is larger) and one article per journal issue. Use of this service is unlimited but each request will cost you £1. The charge will be added to your library account, allowing you to pay it the next time you visit the Library. If you accrue £10 or more in fines and/or charges you will need to reduce the amount under £10 to continue to use the service.
Further information and request forms are available on our Borrowing LibGuide under Requesting Resources and Inter-Library Loan.
