There are 32 lockers in the Cornerstone Building foyer for use by BGU students and anyone else holding a current BGU library card. Keys must be checked out on to your library account at the Library Service Desk.

Charges apply if locker keys are returned late or lost (see below).  To find out more, please ask at the Service Desk.

Locker T&Cs:

  1. You can only obtain a locker key when the Library Service Desk is open and staffed.  If, when you come to return the key, the Service Desk is closed, you should post it in a book returns box (there are two inside the building and one outside the building).
  2. The key will be issued on to your library account as a ‘one week loan’ and will auto-renew.
  3. The key will count as an item from your loan allowance.
  4. If you lose or do not return a locker key a replacement charge of £10 will be payable.
  5. You do not need a coin to use a locker.
  6. There is no way for you to tell if there is a locker free - you will need to ask at the Service Desk.
  7. Due to limited availability only one key and one locker will be issued per person.
  8. Lockers cannot be booked in advance; keys are issued out on a first-come-first-served basis.
  9. You may store library books in a locker but only if they have been issued to your library account.
  10. You can choose which locker to use, provided it is available.
  11. Library staff have a master key and reserve the right to carry out spot checks of the lockers and to recall a key.
  12. You are responsible for the key and the contents of the locker. The University does not accept any liability for damaged or stolen items.
