We recommend Curiositea - the University's quirky and colourful coffee shop. They serve drinks and snacks - and some amazing cakes - and it's the perfect place to take a break from studying. You'll find it right in the centre of the campus, just a minute's walk from the library. It's normally open from mid-September during semester-time on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30am-4pm and Wednesdays and Fridays 8.30am-3pm. Curiositea doesn't usually open at weekends or during vacations.
There's also the main Refectory, located near the main entrance off Longdales Road. During semester-time it's normally open Monday to Thursday 8am-6pm and Friday 8am-4pm. Weekend and vacation times vary.
