Eduroam is a service that allows students and staff from other universities to access our wireless network, for free, using the same username and password they would normally use at their home institution. Conversely, it allows our students to do the same at other participating institutions.

Students visiting BG can only use Eduroam if their home institution is signed up to the Eduroam service. There is a full list of participating institutions here. In some cases the Eduroam signal will automatically appear alongside other wi-fi signals on laptops or other devices and you can login with your normal username and password. In other cases you may need to configure your laptop or mobile device to accept the signal.  If you need help doing this please contact the IT Helpdesk (helpdesk@bishopg.ac.uk).
