Athens is a means of authentication which allows you to access online resources, but it is not the main method of authentication at BGU.  Instead, if you are off campus and try to use any of the Library's online resources, via WorldCat or A-Z Databases, you will be prompted to login with your B number (not your full email address) and the same password you use for BGU email.

It is important that you access BGU Library's online resources via either WorldCat or A-Z Databases because the links contained within the two sites contain a special prefix that authenticate you as a BGU student.  Links to library resources found via Google or other search engines will not contain this prefix and therefore will not work.

More information about the Library's online resources see

If you are a North Lincolnshire SCITT student or you have been given access to library resources which are only available through Athens and you need further help, please contact us directly about your Athens account at <>.
