It is a library catalogue and research tool that allows you to search across all of the Library’s holdings at the same time. By holdings we mean the books and other physical materials kept in the Library as well as the various online journals, databases and e-books to which the library subscribes.   In the case of printed materials WorldCat shows how many copies we have and where to look for them.  Online resources can be opened and viewed onscreen.  You can also search the collections of other libraries that use WorldCat.

In addition to being a search tool you can also use WorldCat to login and monitor your library account, renew loans and place and monitor holds.

WorldCat can be found at http://bishopg.worldcat.org and you can find out more in our All About WorldCat LibGuide.
