Your username is written on your ID card and is the same as your student ID number. If you forget your password, or enter it incorrectly too many times and lock your account, you can reset/unlock it yourself at https://helpdesk.bishopg.ac.uk:8443. You will need to register to use this service, for which you need to provide your username, password and the answers to three security questions. Once you've done this, if you need to reset your password in future you need only go to the site, click on 'Reset Password' or 'Unlock Account', and answer the security questions.
Your computer login is valid for access to the University's computer network, Blackboard, the printing & copying network, your email account, and off-campus access to the library's electronic resources.
If you have any problems resetting your password visit the IT Helpdesk in the CELT Centre, phone 01522 583666, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
